A you've probably read, the Angel is a pub in the village of Glemsford in West suffolk, I've been drinking there my whole adult life and, if I'm truly honest, there's very few places in the world I'd rather be on Any Given Evening.
I'm not going to go into masses of detail about the pub, you can learn more about the place from Steve Clarke's excellent(if rather 'individually' coloured) website, in the links box.
My intention here is to just ramble in general about The Pub and Pub Life.
So, if you're buying bor, mine's a pint of IPA.
Incidentally, if you're wondering about the blog's title, it's a reference to the fact that, as a pub, we've won the national pub quiz 4 times on the trot now, coming out on top of variously, 60, 57, 255 and 55 pubs nationally.
See? Cleverest pub in the country, Officially.

Not barely a week old and the blog has it's first comments.
Steve, we shall make attempts to visit you next year, or at least, make REALLY GOOD excuses not to.
The presence of a distillery near you maay have some bearing on this.
Individually coloured?
And here's you with a background resembling a kebab at 3 a.m. on it's second time of viewing.
I mean ...
Right mate.
You're now linked from several points of my websites, so it's up to you!
I'll leave you to go into more detail about the quiz - it'll look far better with your direct input.
Slainte mhath.
